Raising company valuations

by over $1b. It’s all about knowing your “Capacity” and “Capability”.

I have just listened to this episode of the highly regarded Dent Podcast. In this episode, Glen Carlson interviews Tim Dwyer of Shirlaws about the exact recipe to grow a business.  Tim is a master business coach, strategist and advisor who specialises in helping larger business commercialise intellectual property for scale.

Tim gets into the nitty-gritty details of managing time and money to grow your small business, and make it scaleable.  It’s all about measuring your “Capacity” and “Capability“, and there is a precise formula to follow.

There really is a formula for small business growth…

No joke, there really is a precise formula that, if implemented, will allow your business to grow without falling into the traps that bring many small business owners unstuck on their growth path.  But first, you must really understand and measure how time and money are spent in your business, and your business “Capacity” and “Capability”.

I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with both Glen and Tim over the past 3 years, and I never cease to learn from them.  These two gentlemen are the real deal, and they have the runs on the board.

… so grab some paper and a pen.

I highly recommend that you take an hour to really listen to this episode.  This is not one of those podcasts where you can surf Facebook or read emails while you listen.  There is so much to absorb, that you will need all your attention, and some good note-taking!  I’m sure you will find yourself re-playing sections so you can get all the information down.

Enjoy the podcast, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on the content.  Did you learn something? Will you put this formula into action in your business?
